A couple of Doxpop customers contacted us today because one of the other E-Filing Service Providers sent them a solicitation asserting that Odyssey (the Case Management System used by Indiana Courts) is going to be shut down.
That is not correct. (Also, in case you were worried, the sky is not falling either. 😉)
What *is* happening is that in the first week of December, the State Court is going to be replacing the EFM (E-Filing Manager) that Doxpop and other E-Filing Service Providers use to submit your envelopes to the Courts.
When this happens, Nothing about Odyssey will change, and there will be no significant changes to Doxpop. Our goal is to make sure the transition to the new EFM is a boring event for all of our customers.
We will be working with all of you to make sure your filing history is preserved as the Courts move to the new EFM, so watch this blog for details of that process as we get closer to December.
In the meantime, relax, and don't believe anyone who tells you Odyssey is going away.
